HHS Cheerleaders Annual Cheer Clinic

HHS Cheer Clinic is open to all school age children. The cost is $35 per child.  The kids will get to meet the cheerleaders, receive a t-shirt, and perform January 7th at the Varsity basketball game.

Got CANS?

Rocky Heights Canned Food Drive is going on through the month of December. Look into your pantries and if you have any canned food items that are just taking up space on your shelf, please send to school with your child. Carrots, peas, spinach...somebody will be grateful they end up on their shelves.

Snow is Falling!

As one of our students' said, "It is Decemberrrrrrrr!" Keep updated about school closures by looking at the Rocky Heights school website, local news channels, as well as the district's school website. If elementary school has been canceled, then all other extra curriculuar activites have been too.

Thanksgiving Feast

Come join your child at Rocky Heights for the Thanksgiving Feast on November 18. Third grade lunch will be served from 12:20-12:40. If you have other children that you would also like to eat with in a different grade, let me know and you can take your child at that time. A meal ticket for an adult is $2.75.

Families, it's YOUR turn...

Okay Families, here's looking at you!  That's right, it is time for you to do the homework...not your child. Your child has been working very hard in class, scoring well on their state tests, and learning a lot of information. We thought it was time to turn the tables on you. You have an assignment and your child can help you if you need it. I'm sending Tammy/Thomas the Turkey home for you to disguise so he/she doesn't get eaten for Thanksgiving! You can use whatever materials you can find to give the turkey an outfit. In the past, families have turned them into ballerinas, fisherman, snowmen, an Aztec Dancer...So, put on your thinking caps and come up with a creative disguise for your turkey. Please return your turkey by November 19th.
